When a battery fails without warning, the quickest answer is often not recovery to a garage but a correctly tested and fitted replacement at the roadside. This Oxford callout involved a driver whose car would not restart after a short stop, with ANYTOW supplying and fitting a new battery in under 90min.
new battery supplied and fitted in under 90min
The driver had parked near Headington for an appointment and returned to a completely dead vehicle. Because the car was blocking their afternoon plans rather than sitting safely at home, ANYTOW prioritised the call as a local Oxford battery replacement and supplied and fitted a new battery in under 90min.
Testing before replacing
A modern car battery should not be replaced by guesswork. We checked the battery condition, starting voltage and charging behaviour before fitting the replacement, then confirmed the vehicle started reliably. This helps separate a simple failed battery from alternator, starter motor or electrical drain problems.
BMS and diagnostics checks
Many newer vehicles need battery monitoring system checks after fitting. The diagnostic image from this job shows the kind of electronic support used to protect the vehicle, register battery information where required and reduce the chance of warning lights after a roadside battery change.
